CHRISTCHURCH, 26th October. ■ The North Canterbury Hospital Boai'd to-day decided to make no further reductions in -Wages and salaries of the staff, owing mainly, it was stated, to the staff's co-operation in keeping down expenses. . ' The financial statement .for the six months indicated that " the board's budget would be balanced at the end of the year.
