Ross, Walnui. PERSONAL. Captain W. S. Mason is in command of the Port Dunedin, which is due at Wellington on Tuesday, from Liverpool, via ports. A living link with the steamships Rotomahana and Penguin, vessels which were well known in New Zealand's early days.Js provided by Sir. J. B. Hutton, of Hataitai, Wellington, who arrived at Auckland in the' Port Dunedin, from Liverpool. Mr. Hutton came out in the Rotomahana in 1879, and for many years he was an engineer officer in the Penguin, being one of the survivors of that ship when she was wrecked In the Cook Strait. The veteran Is wonderfully well, despite his 83 years. He has been on a visit to his sister at Broughty Ferry, Scotland. .THE REMUERA'S SAILING. The Remuera will leave Auckland at noon to-morrow for London, via the Panama Canal and Curacao. CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR REPORTS. En route from Montreal, the Canadian Constructor has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive at Auckland on 2nd November. She Is due at Wellington on 7th November. TAINUI DELAYED.' The Talnui has been delayed by fain at Lyttelton, and will now leave there to-morrow for New Plymouth. She is due at Wellington on Sth November, and 'will sail on Bth November for Napier. She is still to sail finally from Napier on llth November. THE KARTIGI. The Union Company's steamer Kartigi will now call first at Adelaide, and will complete loading at Edlthburg and Melbourne, for Auckland, Portland, and New Plymouth. HALERIC REPORTS. The Bank Line steamer Haleric has reported by wireless that she will arrive at Auckland from Ocean Island on Saturday afternoon. The vessel has 7550 tons of phosphates, all of which will be unloaded at Auckland. MOVEMENTS OF TANKERS. The tanker Acasta is finishing the discharge of her cargo In New Zealand, and Is scheduled to leave Dunedin to-morrow for Balik Papan. The coastal tanker Paua is due at Wellington next Wednesday from Glsborne. The tanker Thorbis left San Pedro on 17th October for Auckland and Wellington. She Is due at Auckland on 12th November, and Wellington on 17th November. The tanker Sydhav, en route from Balik Papan, has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive at Wellington at daybreak on Friday. The Union Company's chartered tanker O. A.
