NOT TO BL CLOSED

When this year's City Council estimates were being framed it was thought possible that the swimming' baths at Khandallah would have to ;be closed but the cut in the estimates 'of the Heserves Department was not 30 severe as was first proposed, and it was not necessary to close the baths. ' The chairman of the Khandallah Progress Association (Mr M S Galloway) stated to-day that it was rumoured in the Khandallah district that the baths would be closed.
