AMALGAMATION PROPOSAL

PALMERSTON N., This Day. _ A proposal was advanced at the meeting of the Manawatu-Oroua Power Board yesterday, that it be a recommendation to the Power Boards' Association that electricity generated by the Government should be sold only to power boards; An amendment was carried that the executive of the" association should be asked to support the delegation beine arranged in regard to the amalgamation of town and country schemes. .
