(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, 10th October. After having been hove-to in a gale for 84 hours, the launch Beth, which left Auckland on 19th September for Adelaide, under th-> charge of her owner, Mr. T. H. Webb, arrived at Norfolk Island .on Sunday night. A cablegram received by llrs. Webb said that the trip from Whangaroa, which was left on Sunday, 2nd October, had been a rough one all the way, with a-suc-cession of gales, which had compelled the crew to heave-to for 84 hours. The launch had been severely tested, and had behaved splendidly all through, Mr. Webb cabling his satisfaction with its performance.
