Friday's closing prices for the following raw materials, were as follow, those for 6th September being given in parentheses:— .Cotton.—Liverpool quotation, American middling,", spot 6.07 d per lb (5.88 d); October delivery, 5.74 d per lb (5.58 d). ; Rubber.—Para, 5 l-8d per lb (5%d); plantation, smoke ribbed sheet, 2 11-l6d per lb (2 21-32 d).

Dairy Board advices show that the London, market closed quiet for both butter and cheese on Thursday evening.
