BRULETTE'S DAM ALSO

Lord Woolavmglon, who in June purchased the Oaks winner, Brulette, with whom he won the Gpodwood Cup. on 28th 3uly last, also bought her dam, Seaweed, early iv July. > .Besides being the dam of Brulette, Seaweed is the dam also of Hotweed, who won the Grand Prix de Paris and the Prix dv Jockey Club (French Derby). She is a sixteen-year-old'daughter of Spearmint and Seadune, by Ayrshire.- She was acquired together with her fine yearling colt by Bruleur, who is named Hotspur, and is a full brother to Hotweed and Brulette. She has a colt foal by Finglas, and is again in foal to the: son of Bruleur. The mare and foal and yearling arrived in Ensland a few days priur to Bnilctte's Goodwood success.
