HOCKEY
PRIMARY SCHOOLS' MATCH
The Auckland primary school boys' hockey team will arrive in Wellington tomorrow, and meet the Wellington schoolboys at Kilbirnie Reserve on Wednesday, at 2 p.m. This match is a challenge by the Auckland schoolboys for the JSTorton Memorial Cup, which carries with it the championship o£ the North Island primary schools, at present held by Wellington. Excellent arrangements, including a scenic motor drive, and a dinner after the match t6 be followed by a visit -to a theatre,'have been made for the visitors. The Auckland team leaves Wellington by the 2 p.m. train on Thursday. The teams are as follows:—
Wellington.—Barnes; Howard, Plant, Sutherland, Miller,. Fletcher, Allan, Cook, Hallard, Carter, Russell.
Auckland. —H. Matuschka, L. Jcjffs,; A. Jeffs, W. Chippell, D. Ehodes, Fi- Watkins, J. Elliott, A. Holmes, J. Jones, T. McKenzie, K. Givil, E. Boggs. ; Mr. H. E. Watts is the Auckland manager, and Mr. R! E. Penchey the Wellington manager. ...
