SUBJECT OF INJUNCTION
SYDNEY, 12th April. „ At the Equity Court to-day, fuHhe* mention was made of £1000 worth, efl gold from New Zealand which -was thd subject of an injunction arising out ofi yesterday >a proceedings against Peretf "Wince, a ship's steward. The Co'mmiesioner of Police at Sydney was api pointed receiver of the gold pending a decision on the injunction which win be argued next Wednesday. Mr. Weston, who appeared on behalS of Garrett and Davidson, who: desired. to prevent the gold being returned to : J*ew Zealand, said that the gold iv»s ! being hawked about in a most embar» ! rassmg way. The dispute Was one en«( tirely between his clients and the jtfew I Zealand Government, whom he pro* posed to join in the suit.
