: (Received 13th August, 11.30 a.m.) HAMBURG, 12th August. In the semi-final of the Germun tennis championships R. Menzel (Czechoslovakia) defeated J. C. Crawford (Australia), 6-4, 0-4, 0-4. In the semi-final yon Cramni (Germany) defeated C. Boussus (France), 7-5, G-2, 6-3. The Australians Hopmaii, Sproule, and Clemenger were eliminated in earlier rounds.
