Southampton is the scene of record activity this week-end. Twenty-two vessels, totalling 600,000 tons, including the Empress of Britain, Aquitania, Berengaria, Olympic, Homeric, and others of the world's largest liners are sailing on holiday cruises to Mediterranean, and other ports and cruises round the British Isles.
The cruise bookings, which are fora; times as great as last year, give evidence" of the growing movement to spend holidays cruising in. British vessels. :
