LOVELOCK'S FEAT

LOS ANGELES, 31st July. Thirty new world records and three marks equalling present top performances have been accepted by tho International Amateur Athletic Federation.

P. Nurmi's records have been brought to ten by the recognition of three more.

J. E. Lovelock, New Zealand, is included for his time of 3min 2 2-ssee for 1320 yards, made on 11th June this year in London.

Other records include:—loo metres, 10.3sec, by Percy Williams, Canada (9th August, 1930, at Toronto); 6000 metres relay, lomin 55.65ec, by England (30th September, 1931, at Cologne).
