N.A.D.A. WIN

N.A.D.A. beat Stop Out by 3 goals to 2.when the teams met at Kilbirnie Reserve on Saturday. N.A.D.A. had the better of the game, and though Stop Out twice equalised, the' winners were more clever. The teams were:— N.A.D.A—McGinty; Abernethy, T. Swinburne; Park. Fahey, Rolfe; j. Cullen, R. Cullen, Dewar; M. Swinburne, Flett. Stop Out.—G. White; Moore, Hitchen; J. White, Sandholm; Mclvor; McGavin, Beale, Lask, Liddicoat, Timms. Stop Out lost the toss and had to face the wind in the opening half. Nevertheless, they came through with the score even, N.A.D.A. gaining one goal when Swmburne let drive from half-way, and MeGavhv equalising from a melee in frfint of the goal-mouth. , After half-time, J. Cullen sent the ball through for N.A.D.A. In spite of the fact that they were now facing the wind, the winners were going well, and often were dangerous. , Stop Out came down with some swift attacks, and from one of these ;.J. White headed through after the way had been opened by Liddicoat, who manoeuvred the ball past the goalie and towards the goal-mouth. N.A.D.A. retaliated at once, however, H. Cullen passing to his brother, who goaled, and the final score.was N.A.D.A. 3, Stop Out 2. The referee was Mr. Sanderson.
