VICTORIA COLLEGE DEBATERS
On Saturday evening the Victoria College Debating Society debated the subject: "That until'the principles of Christianity are introduced into the social and economic affairs of the world there is no hope for the world." The judge, Mr. T. Campbell Spratt, placed the speakers in the following order:—Mr. Hurley, Mr. Mouutjoy Mr Sutch, Miss Forde, Miss Sewell and- Mr' Scotney (bracketed), and Mr. Watson.
