ANOTHER ART UNION.
DISTRIBUTION OF PROFITS
Approval has been given by the Government for tho holding of another £4000 alluvial gold art union, to be drawn on 24th September. The following organisations will benefit:— I Tho "Smith- Family" or Major's fund I for ,the;relfef of distress in the four ecuties;- tho Egmont A. and P. Association, Havieia; tile Wairoa A. and P. Association.; tho Poverty Bay A: and P. Association; the Opotiki-A. and P, Association; the Bay 6E Plenty Winter Show Association; the Nelson A. and P.« Association; the Mamotcfto A. and P., Association: tho Strath^Tnieri A. and P. Association; the Lake County A, and P. Association; the Central Otapto A. and P. Association; the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association (for piomotion of instruction I m swimming among school dhildren I throughout New Zealand); the New Zea- | land branch of the Royal Life-saving Society (for assistance to surf clubs).
