Penseler).- Previously only large aeroplanes had beep- flown'before over that dnngerous,, territory. , The following day the young lady continued her flight'to Guyacjuil (Ecuador). The distance is about 1120 miles, and in addition to crossing the Andes Mountains the aeroplane for the rest of the way flew over swampy virgin forest. The aeroplane was supplied with, fuel to last for ten hours, and the starting from the ground about 6600 feet above-sea level" was extremely difficult, but Elly Beinhorn arrived punctually at --Guyaqui); - and was given a most enthusiastic reception.
