CHRISTCHURCH, This Day

An orgy of. crime, involving the theft of goods valued at £200, four cases of conversion of motor-cars, two of breaking. uiteriug, and theft, and one of recemng stolen goods, was revealed in the Magistrate's Court to-day when Thomas Eric Kidd (25), a coach trimfner, pleaded guilty to eighteen charges. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence on.the burglary charges, and the remaining cases were adjourned. The burglary cases included that »t the Pioneer Sports Club, Ghristehureh, and the theft of jewellery valued at £100 at Rangiora. - ~.>,-. . '■'•..
