The giant airship Los Angeles, the training ship fe-r the United States Navy flyers; has been ordered to be decommisaioned for Teasons of old age and economy. She will be immediately shorn, of her helium, engines, and name. The Los Angeles was delivered here in 1924 after a 74-hour flight from ■Friedrichshafen, by Dr. Eckcner.
