AORANGI AT SUVA

CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE

SUVA, This Day.

The mail motor vessel Aorangi, from Auckland, was approaching the King's Wharf when, the ebb tide caught her bow. She crashed into,the wharf at an angle of 60 degrees. Tho wooden decking and beams of the wharf were smashed to a depth of 30 feet. The ship was undamaged. The damage to the wharf was estimated at about £2000. The Aorangi sails at 3 o'clock this afternoon for Vancouver. . The Australian and New Zealand delegations were entertained at luncheon by the Governor of Fiji.
