William Thomas' Lindsay, county clerk for the Waipara. County, : was arrested to-day by Detective-Sergeant O'Brien and brought before Justices of the Peace at AVaikari "charged'-iyitli forgery under the Electoral Act. The accused was remanded to Christchurch on Sth July, and bail was allowed at £230. . •■- ;■ ■■ n--
