UNIVERSITY FEES
(To the Editor.) '^~
• Sir,—May I heartily 'second the remarks of VStude" in connection with the University examination fees? I consider that the students have not been fairly met as far as the fees are concerned. Many of them have had their salaries (which previously were meagre enough) reduced by from 10 to 20 per cent., and find it increasingly difficult to make both ends meet. In trying to better themselves, by strenuous study, _ they are. handicapped with the necessity of finding two or ■three guineas for the examination fee. Surely the University authorities will endeavour to lighten the students' burden in this connection before the fees become -payable?— I am, etc., ANOTHER STUDENT.'
