BUTTER AND CHEESE EXPORTS
The Dairy Board reports for the. season' .Ist Auglist to 31st May 88,003 tons butter exported, all but 1111 tons to the •UnitedKingdom, and 74,372 tons of ■ cheese, all; but 61 tons to ; the same destination. Butter exports have increased 8426 tons "over those of last'season,,but cheese is.less by 2459 for the same period. • British re-exports of butter (which would be mainly New Zealand and Australian).' for May were 738 tons, an increase of 182 tons over May o£ 1931. France, Belgium, and Switzerland were principal importers.'
