"I have started at;the Taihape High School this • year, and. on Friday last we. had .our annual fancy dress ball. 'Tom Kitten' went as a-toy soldier, ' Rob' as an Indian, and ' Chippee Hackee' as a waitress. "We other three did mot go in fancy dress. We had such fun. There were lots of Indians, pirat.es, cowboys, sailors, and pierrots, and lots of. other kinds.
