■ The. pawnbroker's famous sign of the three balls-has been copied1 in chromium for a hat ornamenfror brooch (states' a London fashion writer). This is only one ;of several new designs in ch'rominm plating,-diamante, pearl, and lacquer red composition to brighten our spring 'outfits. ■ Pearl -and diamante is perhaps the newest cbmbinatibn. It is made .into,, a- small ornament which can be attained,'to.the fastening of a belt, or used to 'decorate:'a flat neckline.^A- b'urich of diamante feathers in miniature is an ■alternative. : Biit if you -prefer, colour there ar.e tiny birds made in chromium', and lacquer red. Clasp' rings, which can be substituted fot buttons, are .made in -pairs, ■ one scarlet and the other chromium;
