CLAREMORE'S RECOVERY
After being absent on Tuesday, Claremore was on. the tracks at Ellerslie again. on.W ednesday, when he was allotted strong work on the tan (states a northern report). The jumper got through his work iv good style, and-is now doing better than, he was a. few days -ago. No definite arrangement has yet been made, but it is nojv almost certain that he. will keep 'hts engagement in the Waikato' Steeplechase, tomorrow, if he does race at Te Eapa, he will make the trip by motor-float in company, with Haakon and ..Thespls on Saturday morning. . '.
