OFFENCE AGAINST GIRL

Found guilty by a jury in the Supreme Court on Monday on a charge of having indecently assaulted a girl, aged 13, at Upper Hutt last year, Charles Denis William Henry Tynan, a freezing hand, aged 24, was admitted to twelve months' probation by Mr. Justice Oetler to-day. A special condition of the probation is that Tynan must pay the costs of the prosecution, £9 18s, within three months.
