KAYE DON'S NEW SPEED BOAT

Miss England 111., the motor-boat in which 'Mr. Kaye Don hopes to establish a new world water speed record, was launched .to-day ~ at- the Thames, yai-d of Thorneycroft's, engineers: She has two Schneider Trophytype Rolls-Royce engines which develop, a nominal horsepower of; 400, but' actually considerably more, twin propellers and rudders fore and aft. She is almost the same size as her' famous predecessor, 35 feet long, 9 feet 6 inches broad. ' ■
The boat was later put aboard a ship which will sail to-morrow for Italy, where she will compete for the D'Annnnzio Trophy on Lake Garda, and will Attempt to-create a fresh record. In the autumn she will race in the United States; l •
