RAIN STOPS TRAIN

TIMARU, This Day Heavy rain fell last night. A fall of three and a half inches was recorded up to 9 o'clock this morning. The roads north and south are interrupted, and the train from Fairlie is held up at Levels owing to water on the railway line. It is still raining.
