THEFT OF RADIO SETS

DUNEDIN, This: Day. Albert Edward Arthur Hamilton pleaded, guilty in tte Police Court ofiaving stolen, radio" sets in Dunedin, Christehurelt, and Wellington. ; The police stated, that the ' accused was' discharged -from prison two - days before the. Wellington offence. He booted at an hotel and wehtto the Xeves-' tarn Company, obtaining a set 6a appro* val, •which set he afterwards sold to a second-hand dealer for £6.. Then he went i tp_Christchurch, where, it is alleged, he ob- ' tamed a radio set in a ""iTiwr way. In Dunedin he adopted .the same procedure. Hamilton was sentenced jto three; months^ hard labour on the Dunedin and Wet lington charges, and was remanded. t« Christchurch on the other charge.'■"■:,■ ' '
