TEACHERS' DENIAL

The following letter has been sent by the New Zealand Educational Institute to the Prime Minister:— .

"I have the honour, by direction of the executive of the New Zealand Educational Institute, to revert to the subject of my letter of the 7th inst. concerning the allegation that the Thames branch of the institute had been concerned in a boycott of certain firms in the Thames. I am now directed to give you definite assurance that the Thames branch, so far from joining in such a movement, has not even discussed it or had a meeting at which it could have been' discussed. I have been directed to hand a copy of this letter to the Press."
