"EDUCATION WEEK"

Yesterday was the commencement of what has come to be known in Wellington as "Education Week," when educational organisations meet in conference during the term holidays. The annual meetings of the Wellington School Committees and Educational Federation and the Public School Assistant Masters' Association took place yesterday, and the annual meeting of the New Zealand Educational Institute also opened. To-day the .annual meet-, ing of the Technical School Teachers' Association commenced, and the Secondary School Principals' Association, the Secondary School Assistants',' Association, and the New Zealand Secondary Schools' Association held their meetings. The New Zealand Federation of Teachers and associations of manual training teachers and women teachers will also hold their conferences this week. ;
