REICHSRATS APPROVAL

BERLIN, Bth May.

The Beichsrat has approved a determined attempt to reduce the number of unemployed in Germany by means of a big labour loan which the Eeichstag will consider on Monday.

The money will be used for land improvement and settlement and pnblic works. The yield to subscribers will , be-4$ per cent., but the loan is attractive because it Will be exempt from taxation. No limit has been placed on the total amount. '..--'■'.

. Meanwhile ; well-known enterprises continue to closje down, including the famous amber works at Palmknicker, East Prussia, on which the Prussian Government has spent £600,000 since 1925 in a vain effort to keep them going. , ,The Junkers aeroplane works at Dessau have also closed.
