LONDON, 19th April. " A message from Berlin states that, following Nationalist newspaper- attacks on the Bepublican Eeichsbanner organisation, which is forming the socalled Iron Front, President yon Hindenburg has written to the Minister of the Interior, Herr Groener, emphasising that he signed the decree dissolving the Nazis after the Cabinet had declared that the dissolution was essential to safeguard the State. He adds: "The evidence submitted to me shows that other parties possess similar organisations. It is my duty to be impartial and, to see the law administered equitably." ; ' .

The President orders Heir Groener to examine the evidence with a view to dissolving the Beichsbanner if the report is true.

Herr Groener, in a statement justifying the action of suppressing the Nazis, said he could not treat the Steel* Helmets and Eeichabanner in the same | way because they were less military in character.; .-■ ; ..::-.**■,•/ ;; The Eeichsbanner leader visited Herr Groener and offered, now that the Nazis have been disbanded, to demobilise the more military of his defence organisations.
