AUSTRALIAN SCULLING

RESULT OF RE-ROWED RACE

MELBOURNE, 26th April. The Australian sculling championship has been re-rowed. It resulted:— Turner (New South Wales), 1; Beauchamp, 2; Peppier (Victoria), 3. Rich-ardson-(Queensland), who was second on Saturday, was disqualified for interference.

The first race was won by Turner from Richardson and Peppier. As two boats bumped and another was involved in a collision with a sightseers' steamer the race was ofdered to be rowed again.
