LONDON, 26th April. 1 Britain's biggest street robbery, has just occurred.
Four motor bandits attacked a bank clerk in broad daylight in a busy Portsmouth street and stole £23,477 in banknotes, with which they sped off at 60 miles an hour. - - - t '■ An elderly bank messenger who accompanied the clerk jumped on to the running-board of the escaping car and was knocked unconscious by one" vt the bandits.
