SQUIRES GOVERNMENT
SEEKING A DISSOLUTION
ST. JOHN'S, 25th April,
The Newfoundland Governmont, which, was elected in 1928, and of -which Sir Richard Squires is Premier, will on Tuesday submit a Bill to the Legislature asking for a, dissolution and provision for a General Election carlv in June. i. ■
The measure will come as the climax of a series of sensational political t events, running the gamut' from drastic measures to re-establish the Dominion's credit last fall to unemployment demonstrations, riots, and lawsuits during the winter and spring.
