VANCOUVER, 26th April. In anticipation of a May Day demonstration,' the Boyal Canadian Mountei .Police raided the headquarters of Communists here, arresting one man and/ seizing tooks, banners, and two dozeiy ■ wooden clubs, declared to be similar to the weapons used against the police ia recent street riots. The civic authorities granted a permit for the demonstration on Sunday, exacting promises that there should be no parade.
