Mr. E. F. Cunliffe, who has been promoted from, sub-foreman of the erecting shop, Hutt Valley' Railway Workshops, to take charge of the Department's shops at Westport, was met by his fellow-officers and men yesterday and presented with an eight-day chiming clock. Mr. Cunliffe leaves to-morrow to take up his new duties.
