HERMITAGE TRAGEDY
WHALLEY REMANDED (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TIMABUJ This Day. , Appearing.on remand from Hokitika, where he was arrested, William John Thomas Whalley, aged 33, appeared before Mr. C. E. Orr Walker, S.M., in the police court charged with the murder of William Edward Wogan at the Hermitage on sth November, 1931. On the application of Senior-Sergeant Mathieson accused was remanded till 4th May.
