VICTORIA WINS KING'S CUP

MELBOURNE, 24th April.

The Victorian eight won the King's Cup from New South Wales by three lengths. Western Australia was a length away third, and South Australia was fourth.

The Australian sculling championship was won by Turner, New South Wales, from Eiehardson, Queensland, and Peppier, Victoria. As two Boats bumped and another was involved in a collision with a sightseers' steamer, the race will be rowed again.
