A SPLENDID PARADE

. Fittingly the 'dedication of .the first section of the National War Memorial /was attended by the largest parade of returned soldiers that has, ever been held in Wellington. The Territorials, who were under the J command of .Colonel W. Cunningham and Lieutenant-Colonel J. L. Saunders, comprised the Wellington Regiment under Major J. L. McAlister, which formed the Guard of Honour, the sth, 15th, 17th, and 19th Batteries, Engineers, Signallers, Army Service . Corps, 2nd Field Ambulance, and vNo. 2 Bomber Squadron, N\Z.
