NO BIDS AT AUCTION

NAPLES, 17th April. M. Schneider having failed to secure money to continue his circus, the animals wero sold by auction to-day. A deadlock resulted, and M. Schneider burst into tears' as fifty-nine lions and two tigers were offered at a -reserve of £3700 and ten lion cubs at £84 and other animals and birds at similar bargain prices, but ther,6 were no bidders.
