SCHOOL COMMITTEES

HOUSEHOLDER MEETINGS

EDUCATION ECONOMIES

In view of the proposed education economies, it is expected that the annual meetings of householders, which will be held throughout the Wellington district this evening for the election of school committees, will be largely attended. Meetings will begin at 7.30 at the respective schools. In the case of schools with rolls exceedings 240, nominations officially closed a week ago, and in the other cases nominations may be made to-night.
