A total of 75 entries was received, and thirteen clubs out of twenty belonging to the association were represented. Ihe successful clubs were: Lower Hutt, which, won both the men's and women's senior singles championships; St. Augustine's, men's junior championship; Western, women's junior championship; and Koro Koro, the men's and women's third .grade championships*. The last-named events were won respectively by Mr. C. Mouat and Miss J. Mouat, two very young players, who are playing good tennis. They were also successful in winning the combined doubles championship held last Anniversary Day. This completes* the inter-club activities in the Hutt Valley for the season, with the exception of the final of the junior grade between Trentham and Lower Hutt, at Lower Hutt, on Saturday next, and representative matches with the Wellington Association on 9th April.
