SYDNEY, This Day.
The State Labour Party Conference passed a resolution in favour of the abolition of Empire Day celebrations in schools and the flag saluting ceremony. ■ ■ •■ Amid a considerable uproar the majority report of the Committee of Inquiry, supporting the president's ruling that no member of' a Communist organisation could be a member of the Labour Party, was adopted.
