BLAZE QUICKLY

SUPPRESSED

The Marama- had arrived from Sydney, and when she was berthed at No. 1 south, Queen's Wharf, the oil fuel in the stokehold caught alight. . The supplies of oil fuel were quickly cut off, and the oil, which was ablaze, although it gave off clouds of smoke, did not threaten to spread.
