UNEMPLOYED AND POLICE
THREE KILLED, MANY HURT]

DETROIT, 7th March. Three persons were killed and morS than a score were injured on Monday/ when the police clashed with three thousand unemployed marchers • wh» attempted to enter the employment offices of the Ford Motor. Company at River Rouge. Several suffered from bullet wounds. The. clash came when, the unemployed, marching from tha down-town district of Detroit, reached Dearborn City limits. Sixty policemen attempted to. halt them, by hurling tear-gas bombs. The marchers retreated, but attacked the police when, thd bombs were exhausted, continuing to the gate 3of the Ford Motor Company, where they were repulsed by firemen with a hose.
The State police assisted in. dispersing the crowd, which failed to enter the employment offices.
