Police Court cases were dealt with today by Mr. E. Page, S.M: For disturbing Constable Robertson while in the execution of has duty, William Hilton Politz was fined £3 or fourteen days' imprisonment. On 7th January the complainant and bis wife left l»ome. When .they returned they found that the accused had gone and that £3 was missing from some clothing left in-the house. On 13th February the accused was located here by Detectives Smith and Ritchie, and admitted that he had taken the''money. He said he had been working for very low wages, had got tired of it, and cleared out In sentencing the accused, the Magistrate remarked that Love had seven previous convictions for theft in 1927 and two more in 1930. .
