For the same period in 193.0-31 there were 886 who paid the whole of the licence, fees'in one payment, and 071 who paid quarterly, but for the current year only 542 paid in 'one payment and 951 quarterly. • ■
The number of drivers' licences issued to 15 th February was ' 13,273, against 13,802 for «ie corresponding period last year, a decrease -of 529.
