Wellington City Council, at their meeting held on the 4th February, 1932 did, by resolution, abolish the day park tor motor vehicles on the eastern side of Customhouse quay fronting the Harbour Board's Shed No. 11, and decided that a park for motor vehicles be established on the eastern side of Customhouse quay between the southern side of Waring Taylor street and the northern side of Brandon street, for passenger vehicles whose drivers are engaged in business on the wharves.
